The Captain Daniel Smith house at 31 Hampton Street in Sag Harbor has sold after five months on the market. Originally asking $ 3,395,000, the house closed earlier this week for $ 3.3 million. The listing saw no changes in price during its time available for sale.

The house stayed in Smith family for nearly 100 years.

Spanning 3,800 square feet, the renovated 19th century home has four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms inside. There’s also four fireplaces, period details, hardwood floors, an eat-in kitchen with a breakfast nook, and French doors that lead outside, where the residents will enjoy a pool and patio space on 0.3 acres.

Prior to listing in the fall of last year, it sold in 2007 for $ 1.95 million.

The property was represented by Brown Harris Stevens agent Jane Holden, and Saunders Real Estate agent John Vaccari.
