Designer’s tiny, renovated Sag Harbor village cottage wants $1.5M

This 660-square-foot cottage is just steps away from village shops and restaurants

A 660-square-foot cottage in Sag Harbor village has recently come on the market for $ 1,495,000 with Sotheby’s International Realty agent, Dana Trotter.

The shingled house is listed under the owners Jan And George, LLC, who purchased the property in 2014 for $ 850,000 according to PropertyShark records. The owners—who together make the interior design team JANGEORGe—renovated the tiny retreat and brought it up to date.

Originally built in 1927, the house now has two bedrooms and one bathroom, hardwood floors throughout, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, and a partially finished basement. The 0.1-acre exterior includes an al fresco dining patio and a finished garage with additional storage space.

Located at 61 Madison Street, new homeowners will be less than a 5-minute walk from Main Street shops and restaurants, and about a mile from Havens Beach.

Zillow estimates that the house is valued at around $ 1.6 million, but what do our readers think? Tell us in the comments.
